Bid Goodbye to 2007, and Let's Welcome 2008.
2007 is concluding in hours time. It is also the time of the year to ponder and reflect over the tumultuous journey you've travelled thus far may you like it or detest it. And also the aspiration for the coming year. To me, 2007 went like a blink of an eye, a flash of light, a strum of the fingers. It was a melodramatic year for me though.
There are moments of Happiness.. Sadness.. Sweetness.. Dreariness..
2007 was not as smooth-sailing as i wished. There are more downs than ups, but glad this unpleasant yr is coming to an end. Looking back on this eventful year I cannot deny the many life lessons learnt throughout the course of the year. With each experience gained(good or bad), a lesson was learnt and I got closer to being the person I am to be. But after all i am glad i did accomplished at least something for myself this year. Finally i started my Marketing Degree in Unisim which is an important milestone in my life. The results for the past 2 semesters are satisfying and i hope to maintain such performance :)
As usual, at this point of the year everyone(or most of the ppl) make new year resolutions. I will draw up mine too. But this time round i am not going to make TOO MANY new year resolutions for 2008, as i never get to fulfill ALL of them. And i hate to remind myself of things i have not accomplished. So to be more realistic, i will just list SOME:
1) Career wise, find a new job with better prospect and higher pay
2) Studies wise, excel Academically
3) Financially, save more $$$
4) Emotionally, stay happy every single day and live life to the fullest
5) Others: Take up driving lessons and get my license soon
I truly hope the resolutions i made above for the following year will stick & i can soar to greater heights in this new year.
With 2007 leaving me, I smile upon the fond days it gave me. And i look forward to a year better than 2007 in every ways. While with Two.Zero.Zero.Eight creeping in, i hope you all will have a wonderful countdown tonight. And i sincerely wish my family, my friends, my love ones be blessed with good Health and unlimited Wealth in this brand new year! =)
