Same Sea, Different We

at the beach we are happily in love last Christmas
here we are at the same beach as friends this year
its the same sea
but now the different we
warmth of living moments lustrous odor of the sea
seems to be unreal with us beneath the trees
the waves crash as the wind drifts upon my face
i am right here in your warm embrace
we looked over the horizon
waiting for the day to come along
ever since we decided to leave each other's life
this is the first time together we catch the sunrise
the sun rises with the clearing up of the sky
beams of light came shinning through my eyes
as the morning comes and bring its light
it brings along enlightenment and answer to my mind
knowing the future you can't give
claws of hurt and anger rip at me
what I see and hear deceive me
I don’t know what to believe
I know its time for me to let the past go
now that you have turned my heart cold
its a night of sweet memories
but it also give me a clearer pic of you and me
i once wished upon;
